Support and regular modernisation of facilities (hardware, software, measurement technology, experimental setups) as well as the development, construction and commissioning of new structures in the laboratories and for the research projects Manufacturing of individual parts in 3D printing, CNC, laser etc. Administration, maintenance and further development of IT systems and server landscape (Windows / Linux, physical & virtual) Supporting IT workstations including user and rights management, IT support (1st and 2nd levels), databases and virtualization and cloud solutions Management of IT inventory, stocks and procurement Technical support of courses, lectures and hybrid formats Implementation of the DGUV V3 tests

A relevant, completed vocational training as well as a further training for the state-tested technician in the field of communications technology, telecommunications electronics, mechatronics and comparable fields are expected. It is also possible to apply to interested persons with equivalent skills and experience (e.g. Master or similar qualifications) Funded theoretical and practical knowledge in automation, mechatronics and communication technology are expected Knowledge of the testing of electrical installations and equipment according to DGUV V3 and implementation according to VDE/DIN standard are expected Knowledge of Windows, Linux and UNIX-based operating systems and computer and system administration Experience in network technology, IT support (1st and 2nd level), structured troubleshooting in computer systems, IT security, backup, data protection (GDPR) and ensuring a stable IT operation is desired Experience in inventory management, IT procurement and documentation is desirable Very high level of autonomy, creativity and sense of responsibility Interest in technological development and willingness to continue professional training Very good oral and written expressiveness in German; English skills are desirable possession of the driver's licence class B or equivalent; Class C1 or accordingly would be desirable
