The German Social Association (SoVD), Landesverband Schleswig-Holstein e.V., is an important non-profit member association with around 180,000 members and a strong social-political voice in the country. At 18 locations, about 180 employees work together with numerous volunteers for social justice, participation and equal opportunities. The comprehensive range of counselling and support includes, in particular, the areas of life assurance, care, health insurance, disability and pension as well as legal representation in court. For this client, conQuaesso is looking for a Head of Social Law Unit (w/m/d) at the next possible time in Kiel

In this responsible position, you take over the management of the Social Law Unit as well as the representation of the state management in the absence and thus contribute significantly to the overall strategic management of the association. With your expertise, you design the technical, strategic and operational control and further development of the unit and develop the existing structures, processes and quality standards in the sense of a modern, powerful organization. As an experienced manager, you are responsible for the management and further development of the four regional lines and promote the cross-site cooperation of the social advisory centres towards a common understanding of yourself. Based on a secure understanding of business relationships, you accompany the control of the unit by means of suitable key figures and at the same time provide impulses for the further development of digital solutions and modern work processes. As a central interface, you design cooperation with management, board, committees and external partners and represent the association in relevant networks and the public.

You have excellent knowledge of social law, in particular in the fields of SGB II, IX and XII, as well as a deep understanding of social policy relations. A completed study, such as law, social sciences, health management or a comparable qualification, forms the technical basis. You combine your multi-year leadership experience in complex, decentralized organizational structures with a value-adding and motivating leadership style. Your strong affinity for digitalization and process optimization empowers you to implement and develop modern control instruments as well as innovative approaches in a targeted manner. Personally, you are convinced by strong communication skills, experience in dealing with bodies and a high identification with the values of a social association.
