Contact person for waste and material flow management (m/f/d)

In this versatile position, you take over the operation of waste and material flow management. You implement the depletion-specific requirements in the field of waste and material flow management taking into account nation-state-specific aspects and in coordination with the expert on waste and material flow management of the branch. This includes advising you on issues relating to waste legislation and the related environmental concerns relating to waste/installation, recovery of waste/degrading materials and being available to regional environmental authorities and engineering offices as a contact person. In addition, you are responsible for the project-related separate implementation of the electronic waste management system for the disposal of waste (ZEDAL) in the field of application of the Hannover office. A further focus of your activity is on the call for tendering, supervision and coordination of engineering services for environmental and constructional predictions. For this purpose, you will prepare tender documents for environmentally relevant, building-physical, geotechnical and hydrogeological preliminary investigations according to statutory and internal requirements of the Federal Highway GmbH. You define, inter alia, disposal routes and check the reliability of the installation of mineral substitutes. Your task will be rounded off by technical advice in disputes and subsequent conflicts on waste and material flow management and the compilation of data for evaluations in waste and material flow management (e.g. ARS 16/2015).

For this position, a completed (special) university degree in the field of environmental engineering or comparable expertise, qualifications and experience is assumed. Ideally, you have professional experience in waste or stream management, preferably in infrastructure projects. You bring knowledge in the field of waste, nature conservation and environmental law. These include, among other things, the Federal Conservation Act (BNatSchG), the German Federal Code of Civil Protection (KrWG), the German Federal Code of Civil Protection and Old Loads (BBodSchV), the Replacement Regulation (Replacement Building Material V), the Federal Regulation (DepV), LAGA M23 – the Federal Government/Country of the Länder Working Group on Waste, Directives for the environmentally sound recycling of Expand Materials In addition, you will have knowledge of the Honorary Order for Architects and Engineers (HOAI), Contract Law and Technical Data Processing (e.g. ZEDAL/eANV) You have a class B driving licence and show willingness to travel.
