Traffic Manager Operational Area of the Integrated Traffic Control Centre (m/w/d)

Transport Manager (m/w/d) We are looking for the Office for Public Order of Stuttgart. The body shall be filled in full time and indefinitely. The integrated traffic control center (IVLZ) is operated by the Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart together with Stuttgarter Strassbahn AG and the police office Stuttgart in the sense of a cooperative traffic management. Thus, all the institutions that are important for road transport work in an integrally unique control center in order to control the overall traffic within the state capital of Stuttgart with the most modern technology. The control center is operated with planned working hours in the 2-shift operation. The operating hours are from Monday to Friday 6 am to 24 pm, Saturday from 9 am to 24 pm and Sunday from 11 am to 21:45 pm.

You observe, analyze and evaluate daily traffic through the most modern technology and agree on appropriate measures in the interdisciplinary team You are responsible for triggering, monitoring, logging and, if necessary, also adapting measures of traffic control and steering You communicate with internal and external cooperation partners and agree Your tasks include the publication of traffic information You work in the preparation and strategy development for major traffic events You contribute to the further development of the IVLZ systems and the digitization of traffic management for the sustainable optimization of traffic in Stuttgart

A completed study (Bachelor/ Master/ Diplom-Ing.) of the field of transport engineering and/or the field of infrastructure management and urban, regional planning with the focus on transport, or in a comparable field of expertise; in the case of foreign financial statements, recognition is required knowledge of traffic management or the willingness to work in this field Embossed problem awareness for the detection and solution of complex traffic situations Embossed team capacity as part of interdisciplinary cooperation with the IVLZ partners High sense of responsibility Very good linguistic and written expressiveness in German
