MuleSoft Architect (m/f/d)

You design scalable, safe and performant integration architectures based on MuleSoft (Anypoint Platform). Responsibility for end-to-end integration solutions – from analysis to design to implementation and operation. You define architecture standards and best practices and ensure their compliance (Governance, Guidelines, Design Reviews). Planning and implementation of modern integration patterns (API-Led Connectivity, Microservices, Event-Driven Architectures). Development and control of API strategies (REST, SOAP, Eventing, Streaming). You act as a technical interface between departments, stakeholders and development teams. Moderation of architectural and design workshops in agile project environments. Leadership and coaching of cross-functional teams and ensuring high quality standards. Hands-on Support for complex implementations, PoCs and technical challenges. Ensuring performance, security and scalability of integration solutions.

Multiannual professional experience (about 7+ years) in the integration environment, of which at least 3 years in an architecture or lead role. Found expertise with MuleSoft (Anypoint Platform), ideally in complex enterprise landscapes. Deep understanding of modern integration architectures and API design principles. Experience with cloud platforms, microservices and event-driven architectures. Knowledge of Security & Identity (OAuth, SSO, API Security, Network Security). Safe handling of CI/CD, DevOps and modern development tools. Embossed analytical skills as well as experience in requesting and process design. Very good communication and presentation skills in German (C1+) and English. Experience in the professional leadership of teams and stakeholder management. Nice-to-have Certifications in the MuleSoft environment (e.g. MuleSoft Certified Architect). Experience in industries such as automotive, e-commerce or finance. Knowledge of adjacent platforms (e.g. Salesforce, SAP, cloud platforms).
