Application Engineer (m/w/d) Calibration Gas Generators

To strengthen our team in Oberursel near Frankfurt am Main we are looking for: Application Engineer (m/w/d) In this position, you supported our customers worldwide in technical and application-related issues. You work closely with our R&D Specialists and take over both pre-sales and post-sales activities.

Technical support and advice from end customers – telephone, email and on-site Conducting product demonstrations, laboratory tests and feasibility studies Presentations and trainings for customers (on site or online) Installation and commissioning of equipment and user training Participation in the preparation and maintenance of training documents, application instructions and presentations Support of projects in the application laboratory (e.g. device tests, troubleshooting, cooperation with service and technical support)

Education & qualification Complete bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) or master's degree (M.Sc.) in engineering, physics, chemistry, environmental sciences or a related subject Promotion (Ph.D.) or deepened knowledge in a relevant area are advantageous Experience Experience in handling gases in laboratory and industry, including connection technology and metering Experience in gas analysis (FTIR, GC, etc.) or gas sensor technology (MEMS, NDIR, thermal conductivity, etc.) desirable Experience in customer support is a plus, but no requirement Skills and skills Ability to analyze technical requirements and present convincing solutions Embossed communicative skills (written and oral) – also for technical presentations Analytical thinking as well as solution-oriented and independent working Safe handling of Word, Excel and PowerPoint, programming or data evaluation experience are a plus Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing Location & travel activities Place of work is Oberursel Readiness to travel in Europe
