Accountant / Tax specialist / Tax clerk (m/w/d)

Walaris designs and develops AI-controlled, software-defined and hardware-supported autonomous systems for defense and security applications. Our cutting-edge technology is used worldwide by customers in the fields of defence, national security, government, naval and protection of critical infrastructure.

To strengthen our financial team, we are looking for a full-time or part-time account holder (m/w/d) for our location in Nuremberg or the Mobile Office at the next possible time. They are independently responsible for the ongoing financial accounting of two start-ups, including cost accounting and the associated tax declarations. Your area of responsibility includes, in particular, Contingency of all business incidents Creation and transmission of tax notifications (conversion tax pre-registrations, ZM notifications, § 50a notifications, pre-tax remuneration applications) Coordination and control of intercompany transactions within the group Creation of monthly and annual accounts according to HGB and tax law They are the central contact person for our tax advisors and auditing and are responsible for preparing the documents for the annual tax returns and advance payments. You are responsible for the settlement of payment transactions. They actively contribute to process optimization and exciting project topics.

You have a qualification as a balance sheet / tax specialist / tax specialist (m/w/d) or a comparable training. They bring at least three years of relevant professional experience, ideally in a small or medium-sized international group. They have good knowledge of tax law (e.g. turnover tax, income tax, flat-rate wage tax) and are motivated to learn in this area. You control an established accounting software (probably DATEV: firm REWE, company online) and are versed in dealing with Excel. They communicate safely in German and English in word and writing or are ready to develop your English skills in order to move confidently in the international environment. They work independently, reliably and structured and are characterised by high commitment and trustworthiness. They have strong communication skills and appreciate the work in the team. They are loadable and conscientious, in particular in the case of fixed tasks.
