In our state-of-the-art lubricant laboratory in Mannheim we carry out demanding application testing, including oxidation stability, corrosion and wear protection tests. Our focus is on the continuous development and quality assurance of market-ready lubricant formulations for industrial applications.

They will be a central member of a growing global team and will contribute to the development of the global competence center for finished lubricants in Mannheim. In addition to the technical tasks, you are part of the business team and work on both technical and commercial topics and projects.

Over time, this role will develop into a hybrid position that combines laboratory work with a mobile technical service (travel activity about 20%). This position offers a high degree of self-responsibility.

Technical support and implementation of physico-chemical, tribological and lubricant-specific tests in the laboratory for finished lubricants Analysis and interpretation of technical data to optimize product performance Development and implementation of new test methods and ensuring the operation and documentation according to relevant standards (ISO 9001:200, DIN, ASTM etc.) Proper processing of application-oriented test orders including Results presentation Provision of technical data, advice and solutions for sales, traders and customers Conversion of technical data into commercial solutions and creation of and marketing materials Maintenance and management of technical documents (security data sheets, technical data sheets, product specifications, regulatory documents) Responsible for Trouble Shooting and production-relevant topics Close interaction with customers and suppliers

Complete training as a chemical laboratory technician, chemical technician, technician or comparable qualification (optional Bachelor or Master degree) with at least 5 years of professional experience in lubricants or additives Knowledge of analytical and physicochemical test methods and tribological tests in lubricants Self-employed and structured working and good time management Team spirit and strong communication skills Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing Standing for occasional missions (approx.10-20 %)
