In the media group Westdeutsche Zeitung with its locations in Düsseldorf, Kempen, Krefeld and Wuppertal, the daily Westdeutsche Zeitung will be presenting four issues as well as various digital news products and special publications. We are looking for a editor with a focus on editor (m/w/d) at the local newsdesk at the closest possible time for the editorial team at the Wuppertal site

You layout and design the pages for the Wuppertal edition of the Westdeutsche Zeitung and actively contribute to the production of a sophisticated, modern and reader-oriented local part. You edit and prepare editorial content in a print-friendly manner and support our reporters (d/m/w) in editing their content. You make a significant contribution to the further development of editorial work.

You have a completed volunteer or a comparable journalistic training and already have first professional experience in a editorial board. You bring outstanding German knowledge, are stylistic and text-proof. In dealing with editorial systems, layout programs and MS-Office you are very familiar. You are characterized by organisational and communication strength. You are a convincing team player who likes to work in a quality-conscious and targeted team.
