In our team, numerous applications are supported, which are either own developments (different technologies), but are also standard products from the market. As part of the team, both the implementation of application-specific activities is part of your tasks, as well as the monitoring and updating of VMs & servers on which these applications are operated. Since technologies are always changing, a look at the technical safety and sustainability of technologies should also be cast. Initiatives for transition to another environment / application are supported and supported by you. Together with the respective IT competence centers as well as other responsible for the application, you test IT systems and IT components (e.g. after development and after maintenance work) and maintain IT service management and thus the end users in problem cases (2nd level application support for software and hardware problems). As part of the activities you are responsible, you work with service ticketing tools such as Cherwell or Jira or Confluence.
