We are an innovative private institution of children and youth assistance, founded in 2002, with coordinated outpatient, semi-stationary and stationary aids from a single source. We are looking for a psychological specialist in full or part-time (min. 30h) to supplement our team of trauma pedagogical psychology practice in Bückeburg.

Trauma pedagogical-psychological practice combines outpatient aids, psychological and trauma pedagogical diagnostics as well as technical advice and support within an interdisciplinary field.

Our diagnostics follows a holistic, dialogical approach: We understand diagnostics not primarily as an assessment, but as a common understanding process, which makes visible resources, burdens and biographical relationships, introduces development processes and opens up new spaces for action for children, young people, families and skilled workers.

An essential part of the activity is the implementation of psychological, binding, and dream pedagogical diagnostics.

These include the selection, implementation and evaluation of evidence-based diagnostic methods and the creation of holistic diagnostic assessments including standardized test methods, structured interviews, systematic observations and biographical narratives. In this case, diagnostic questions are resource-oriented and processed with the most gentle, targeted use of psychological test methods. The diagnostic results are reflected together with children, adolescents, parents and professionals in diagnostic discussions and are translated into concrete recommendations for aid planning, promotion and, where appropriate, therapeutic interventions. The activities are carried out in close cooperation with the teams of stationary, semi-stationary and outpatient assistance (including housing groups, day groups and school integration assistance) as well as interdisciplinary case consultations.

In addition, the tasks include the independent implementation of outpatient assistance in the context of external contracts, as well as the professional support of various areas of the institution.

A special focus is on parental and family work. This includes the advice and support of parents in different situations of life, the implementation of family talks, as well as parents and couple talks. In addition, the design, accompaniment and professional reflection of contact between children and their parents or Origin systems to the task field. Another part of the work is the need-oriented individual work with children and adolescents in order to promote development processes and to relieve pedagogical teams in challenging situations. Other key areas of activity are counselling for children, young people and adults who have had traumatic experiences, and for those who accompany them.

Evidence-based diagnostic methods as well as modern AI-assisted assistance systems for hypothesis formation, structuring and result validation are used to ensure high professional quality.
