Then you will become part of our global team as a software developer (w/m/d) in the MR image reconstruction to advance the further development of the software framework for the image reconstruction of our magnetic resonance (MR) scanner in an international environment.

If you choose the best place for your work - within this place, it is possible to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the working time.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Within an interdisciplinary agile team, you take over the overarching responsibility for the care and development of software components in the field of image reconstruction. These include software frameworks, services and algorithms for image reconstruction and image calculation environment. You bring your expertise into the further development of the Linux-based real-time measurement and image reconstruction operating system. They understand the underlying frameworks, their embedding in the system architecture and the relevant technical contexts and, on this basis, ensure the implementation, implementation and productization of the concepts and models developed together with the software and system architects. They coordinate the development topics in your technical field using agile methods and plan and implement them in close cooperation with the team and external service providers and suppliers. They take over the creation of concept documents, functional and technical specifications, designs, source code and automated tests. As part of the pre-development, you can also actively participate in feasibility studies, prototyping and concept finding.- They ensure the achievement of deadline, cost and quality goals in the projects. With a holistic view, you drive forward the continuous improvement of the software architecture, introduce innovations and your own ideas and design technical decisions constructively. They work closely with MR’s product management, SW and application development, software and system architects and hardware development functions and are proactively involved as a professional Sparring partner.

Your qualifications and experience:

• You have successfully completed your studies in the field of computer science, electrical engineering, medical technology or comparable. They convince with many years of professional experience in software or electrical engineering development They have very good programming skills in C++, Linux software development and experience in platform and OS independent software development. You have deep knowledge in the field of Test Design, experience with automated testing, continuous integration and object-oriented SW development. Good knowledge of multicore programming patterns, parallelization and experience in the medical environment are of advantage.
