Dual Study Program in Social Work (B.A.) on the Virtual Campus - Coach & Care

You want to go through social work? Start your dual myStudium with the appropriate practical partner. You will study myStudium in our study model and use interactive learning materials as well as our learning AI. You will then deepen your knowledge in regular accompanying events on campus or virtually. Coach & Care offers a living for mentally ill and addicted people in the Bayreuth area. Our goal is to support these people in their own homes in order to enable the greatest possible self-employment and self-determined life. We work individually with our clients and provide help in areas such as everyday management, budget management and social integration.

Become part of our team and start with us on October 1, 2025. You will complete your studies at the IU International University virtual campus. The IU is the first university to offer a completely virtual dual study. With this innovative model you are not bound to a campus and all courses take place online. This gives you maximum flexibility and you can learn yourself.

You support people with mental illnesses and addiction problems to cope with their everyday life You accompany and support clients in everyday tasks such as shopping, cooking or dealing with finance You help clients structure their budget management Together with clients as well as your team, you develop individual support plans that you regularly review and customize when needed You work independently, take tasks and projects independently and always focus on the needs of clients. You document the developments, progress and challenges of clients carefully and professionally

Start your studies at the IU with (special) abitur, a qualified professional degree or as a national. Technicians:in/operator:in You can prove German skills according to language level B2 An education or experience in the social sector is advantageous – but no prerequisite You have a valid class B license You can present a clean, advanced guide You bring psychological stability and emotional resilience You are physically fit and willing to take on practical tasks Career prospects: If you have successfully passed the final exam, you have the opportunity to take over with numerous development possibilities.
