Are you excited about transport planning, transport quality and digitalization projects? Then an internship in the worldwide transport logistics of Mercedes-Benz AG is just right for you! We, the worldwide transport logistics, are responsible for the planning and control of the group-wide transport networks for prefabricated vehicle, material, and empties flows of Mercedes-Benz AG. You will be working with us in the department ''Outboundlogistik (OBL) Transport Planning, Transport Control and Digitization' and will support the team 'Digitalization & Sustainability' in the planning and digitization of the global prefabricated vehicle transport for approx. 2 million premium vehicles. We are looking for motivated team members who want to change something! These challenges include: Support in the analysis, structuring and improvement of data quality in logistics and forecasting systems, in particular by identifying and processing data inconsistencies, compiling evaluations as well as participating in measures for automation, standardization and transparent control of data quality. Product Owner support in digitization tools such as ''SCS''. These include developing concepts, user management and much more. Working with an innovative AI project in the USA for automated quality testing of finished vehicles (AI training). Participation in the design, planning and implementation of E2E logistics concepts (LKW, Bahn, Schiff) and their digitalization. Quantitative and qualitative analyses of transport and handling processes. Global communication with internal process partners, location and transport service providers.
