IT Systems Engineer Network Technology (m/f/d)

Your main tasks include the administration, configuration and operation of e.discom firewall infrastructure and associated network components. You support the development of organizational and technical solutions as well as corresponding rules. You set up technological specifications for information and communication technology services and secure network operation within e.discom and in the E.ON Group Network. You are responsible for the technical planning and implementation of strategic projects, as well as for compliance with technical requirements, safety regulations and maintenance tasks in the transferred responsibility area. Working and specialist groups are guided by you. The partner company management and the management of service providers are your tasks. In addition, you will create reports and evaluations for customers and the management level. You take part in a cyclical weekly readiness every 5 weeks.

You bring a high-level/high-school degree in Information Technology (Master, Diploma) or a comparable technical degree. Professional experience in the administration of firewalls. In addition, knowledge in the field of network security with regard to critical infrastructures is advantageous. Knowledge of manufacturers SonicWall, Fortinet, Check Point are desirable Very good understanding of system-wide and IT-technical relationships Your work is characterised by self-initiative, earnings and customer orientation.
