Administrative Board Member (m|f|d)

Joint management of the DZNE with the Scientific Board in overall collegial responsibility Strategic further development of administrative areas, in particular finance, personnel, law, purchasing, IT, third-party funding management and infrastructure – including further digitisation of administrative procedures Operational control of the research facility including resource, process and organization management Ensuring efficient, transparent and legally secure administrative and financial processes as well as responsible management of budget and funding including relevant compliance aspects Responsibility for good organisational and leadership structures and compliance with legal and ethical standards Representation of the DZNE to donors, ministries, supervisory bodies and partner institutions Active, strategic design and embossing of transformation processes and the organisational and cultural development of the DZNE

Qualification: Complete university studies, preferably in economics, law, public management or comparable academic qualification Multiannual, successful management experience in a large scientific, public or university institution, ideally in the research and science management of a publicly funded institution or a company Funded knowledge of budgetary, grant and award law as well as public funding Experience in strategic financial management, organisational development and digital transformation Sovereign dealing with political, scientific and administrative actors Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing Personality: Strategic thinking, integree and decision-making leaders Cooperative, transparent and value-assurance leadership style High communicative competence, negotiation skills and enforcement ability Structured, solution-oriented mode of operation combined with a high sense of responsibility Identification with the objectives of health research and understanding for science-led organisations
