The colon cancer center to be certified by the German Cancer Society (DKG) is led by Prof. Dr. med. Pistorius. Our clinic has been cooperating with the University of KrebsCentrums / National Centrums for Tumor Diseases Dresden (UCC/NCT). For more than 10 years there has been a unique, very close and successful cooperation between the Clinic for Visceral, Thorax and Vascular Surgery of the University Hospital Dresden and the Department of General and Visceral Surgery of the ASKLEPIOS Clinic Radeberg under the direction of Prof. Dr. med. Jürgen Weitz and Prof. Dr. med. Steffen Pistorius.
