As a Mechanical Design Engineer (m/w/divers) you take the following tasks:

• You are responsible for the technical design, development, qualification and commissioning of mechanical assemblies and components
• You create technical documentation for components and systems
• You carry out product engineering activities within the EASA 21G operation
• You take technical communication with internal and external suppliers and discuss development and qualification topics with the customers:
• You are involved in shaping procedures and processes in the area of responsibility and monitoring their compliance
• You analyze industrial trends and support product planning

Your profile:

We would like to meet you personally and therefore consciously dispense with the listing of soft skills. For your new role as Mechanical Design Engineer (m/w/divers) you should bring the following conditions:

• Complete High/Fachhochschulstudie (Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Technology or Mechatronics)
• Multiannual experience in the mechanical development of aviation equipment in the field of in-flight entertainment and/or cabin management
• Multiannual design experiences in 3D-CAD (preferably Solid Works and/or CATIA)
• Very good knowledge of RTCA DO-160 and regulatory requirements
• German and good English skills
• Very good computer skills
