Topic Manager Startup Ecosystem Energy (m/f/d)

Niedersachsen.next is building an integrated start-up ecosystem energy together with the energy research center Niedersachsen (efzn). The aim is to systematically gear research, entrepreneurship and economic application to bring innovations into the market faster, to mobilise investment and to accelerate the transformation towards a climate-neutral energy system. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced personality that actively contributes to the economic development of the ecosystem and takes responsibility for building and strengthening a nationwide start-up ecosystem energy. You report to the Department of Energy with the bridge to the Startup department and work closely with the TEN.efzn initiative, the relevant ministries as well as central actors from business, science and finance. Development, implementation and further development of measures to build and strengthen the start-up ecosystem Energy in Lower Saxony, in particular to improve access to financing opportunities and venture clienting. Own-sponsible budget planning, project management and reporting related to the implemented measures. Systematic mapping and sound analysis of the energy-related innovation and start-up ecosystem in Lower Saxony. Coordination and strategic networking of relevant stakeholders, in particular along the growth and follow-up phase of startups. Cooperation with Lower Saxony actors and coordination of national and international networking in the energy startup environment. Control of external service providers and participation in the implementation of relevant measures. Establishment and continuous development of a data-based monitoring system. Conception and implementation of communication measures. Representation of the theme to actors from business, science and politics.

You have a completed degree (master or diploma), preferably in economics, economic psychology, economic engineering, engineering or a comparable subject. Ideally, you have several years of professional experience in the field of start-up and/or innovation support, financing in the start-up environment (ideally related to the energy sector). You have knowledge of technology transfer, financing, investor approach and funding programmes. Experience in the development, control and analysis of monitoring, reporting and KPI systems would be desirable as well as in the design, development and control of complex programs, projects or networks in the field of innovation or foundation. Their mode of operation is characterized by a pronounced analytical thinking. You are a team and communication personality and are used to work independently and structured.
