As part of an interdisciplinary, cross-disciplinary team, you are working on the modernization and digitization of specialist procedures and the design of software solutions. We process, among other things, millions of traffic data from various sources.

You develop advanced backend solutions based on Python in the team and work with scalable applications, design and implement RESTful APIs and connect different data sources, contribute to the further development of architecture and technical concepts, ensure quality and performance through tests, code reviews and appropriate optimization measures and work agilely and agree closely with professional stakeholders in the context of development and acceptance processes.

Required Higher education (master or equivalent) in the field of Applied Informatics, Geoinformatics or Software Engineering or a comparable field of study, or abilities and experiences equivalent to the university degree based on a completed degree (Bachelor or equivalent) of the above-mentioned subjects with an additional 4 years of relevant professional experience on a Master level at least German knowledge of C1 level in word and writing Advantages Experience of DevOps Methods and Tools (Docker, CI/CD, git) Knowledge of RESTful APIs as well as dealing with relational databases such as PostgreSQL Understanding software architectures and structured solutions multiannual experience in the development of backend systems with Python Interest in data-intensive applications, data engineering or technical contexts such as mobility or GIS
