In this position you take responsibility for the constant operational readiness and proper functioning of the existing fire alarm and extinguishing systems as well as other fire protection devices. You are responsible for carrying out regular maintenance and the implementation of technical projects, with a high degree of self-initiative being expected. Ensuring constant operational readiness of fire protection systems

• Implementation of switching operations at the fire alarm system
• Documentation and planning of the weekly Sprinkler exam
• Organisation of legal expert examination
• Creation of fault analyses on fire protection monitoring systems
• Control of bus systems and communication interfaces
• execution and control of orders for the technical department
• Supporting trades and external companies
• Coordination of cross-departmental activities
• Cooperation in the development and implementation of technical projects and modernisation A day in the life Your day begins with the view of the status of fire detection and extinguishing systems – you check messages, evaluate the monitoring systems and ensure that all fire protection devices are ready for use. You carry out switching operations at the fire alarm system, document the weekly sprinkler examination, organize expert examinations and agree with external trades and other departments. If disturbances occur, go to the ground with targeted error analyses. In addition, you will be involved in technical projects and modernizations, helping to strengthen the security at our site in the long term. As part of the readiness to call, you are also an important contact person when it comes to outside regular working hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Complete training in mechanics, electromechanics, mechatronics, electrical engineering or professional training in the field of firefighters and related training in technical fields
• At least two years of experience in handling fire detection systems
