Internship Development - Design and Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) (m/f/d)

Our Reinhold Würth Innovation Centre CURIO awaits you with diverse tasks. Be part of the “Future Management” team and support in a modern working environment in the following tasks: Development, construction, production and quality assurance of 3D printing components. You take the testing of CAD designs to the production capability and optimierst print data. You are looking for solutions to improve the cost-benefit ratio in the general manufacturing process of the components. You have possibilities for co-design and freedom to identify projects yourself and quickly implement them in the associated workshop. You expect a ''green meadow'' where you identify with us potentials of printing materials and printers, as well as perform tasks such as market research and comparative studies.

Study in the field of mechanical engineering with the focus on production technology, industrial engineering, product design or a comparable degree programme. You have secure CAD knowledge (preferably SolidWorks). First knowledge in FDM, SLA or SLS printing. You convince yourself with self-responsibility, self-initiative and organizational talent in handling your tasks. Your enthusiasm for innovation, your interest in new technologies, and your creativity. Very good German knowledge (C1) in word and writing, good English knowledge.

Your mission is rewarded. For a mandatory internship, you can expect 1,400 € gross per month. If you do a voluntary internship for four months or longer or write your thesis with us, you will receive € 2,420 gross per month.
