Your tasks • Your profile • What we offer

Construction and detailing of pressure-resistant underwater housings, sensor mounts and support systems using 3D-CAD (e.g. SolidWorks, Siemens NX or Inventor) Design and integration of acoustic windows and potting compositions that ensure optimal sound transmission and minimize reflections Implementation of FEM simulations (structural mechanics, thermal) to validate the compressive strength, shock resistance and heat dissipation of closed systems Selection of corrosion-resistant materials (titanium, stainless steel, bronze, technical plastics such as PEEK) and surface coatings for permanent use in seawater Development of complex sealing concepts (O-rings, shaft sealing rings, pressure glass bushings) to protect electronics up to full ocean depths Planning and monitoring of environmental qualification tests (pressure chamber, vibrating table, air-conditioning cabinet) and analysis of failures in prototypes Creation of production-oriented drawings and parts lists as well as close coordination with manufacturing and external suppliers

Graduate degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, precision engineering, ocean technology or a comparable discipline At least 3–5 years of professional experience in the mechanical construction of devices for rough environments. Experience in marine technology (Offshore/Subsea), Wehrtechnik, Aerospace or Sensor Development is strongly preferred Expert knowledge in 3D CAD modelling, tolerance management and manufacturing design (DFM) for turning, milling and injection molding Understanding the design of pressure bodies, sealing technology and underwater connectors (Wet-Mate/Dry-Mate). Knowledge of the acoustic properties of materials Experience with FEM analyses (e.g. ANSYS) to calculate deformation, tension and thermal behavior. High precision, security awareness and interdisciplinary thinking German and English in Word and Writing

Pleasant working environment in a highly motivated team Varied tasks with high personal responsibility Unlimited working relationship with flexible working hours Attractive salary package including occupational retirement Training opportunities as well as regular team events and workshops
