Who we are

The Wilhelm-Löhe-Haus is a medical educational institution of the Rummelsberger Diakonie with 5 living groups in the house. We have children and young people aged 3 to 20 years. In our group of girls there are 8 girls aged 12 to 18 who have experienced violence and abuse and are traumatized. We give them support and orientation and accompany them in their development. They receive support in everyday life, in school matters, in leisure design, as well as in contact with their parents, friends and relatives. We work closely together with offices, schools and doctors. You can bring your personal interests and talents, as well as professional competence in the recreation and implementation of free-time educational measures.

The Rummelsberger Diakonie sees itself as a strong service community. In the house we live community and support each other. Diversity, vitality and cohesion are important to us.

We expect from you

• A completed training as an educator, a social pedagogue, a curative nurse or a comparable qualification
• Willing to work in flexible shiftwork. Your personal concerns will be taken into account if possible
• They bring team skills, empathy, enforcing power and psychological resilience.
• Class B licence
• Detection of personal suitability for the care and supervision of minors (proposal of an extended management certificate according to § 30a para. 2 BZRG)
• For applicants born after 1970, the proof of a complete masculine vaccination or a completed masculine disease (detection)
• Loyality towards church and deacons
