The body shall be permanent and full-time.

As a buyer:in you support the HPI to get the right technology and further on the table in time, economically and compliance-compliant: you analyze the needs of the specialist groups, the administration and the data center, negotiate framework agreements and licenses, build up a digital contract and license management, and with digital tools to ensure that ordering and billing processes run seamlessly from the first request to the issue – always with our scientists.

Support in building an institution-wide information system to deposit contracts Demand analysis, market and supplier research for hardware and software as well as other topics required by the institute Support in the negotiation and management of framework and service contracts (including hardware, office equipment, cloud, SaaS, campus licenses) License management: inventory, optimization, compliance testing Digital ordering and release processes (PR/PO), master data management, reporting (supply and vendor analyses) Construction and maintenance of a supplier portfolio (diversity and sustainability criteria) Participation in process digitalisation projects (e-procurement, electronic audit) Takeover and independent execution of basic shopping tasks (e.g. receipt of needs, collection of offers, order processing)

Completed commercial or technical training (e.g. IT system businessman, Bachelor Business Informatics, IHK specialist purchasing) At least 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in the IT procurement and contract environment, ideally research/high school Experience in creating and implementing national and EU-wide tenders (UVgO/VOL) is advantageous First practical experience with S/4HANA (or comparable e-procurement system ordering, master data, reporting) are advantageous Experiences in license management (Microsoft-EA, Adobe ETLA) German (mind. C1) and good English in word and writing Structured, self-responsibility and high level of integrity and confidentiality Cooperation and coordination with various departments and internal stakeholders to implement procurement processes in line with demand
