Shipping Specialist Service Shipping (m/f/d)

Coordination and timely delivery of our shipments to customers in service delivery Contact person for the dispatch office as well as close cooperation with internal storage and shipping areas Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality and shipping standards Consolidation and preparation of cargo from different storage areas Professional preservation of the cargo including corrosion protection Calculation of shipping volume and production of boxes and fittings Determination and procurement of required packaging materials Documentation of all shipping operations in ERP, WMS and shipping systems Commissioning, product exit control and marking and labelling of consignments Adding and attaching shipping and accompanying documents Loading and transfer of goods to forwarding operations in compliance with cargo securing regulations Active participation in the optimization of logistical processes

Successfully completed training as a specialist warehouse, specialist for warehouse logistics or comparable Experience in the field of shipping, packaging or logistics – ideally in machine or plant engineering Physical loadability and readiness to move even larger components Forklift license and crane license Ideally, knowledge or training in the area of cargo securing as well as a risk training/certification according to ADR requirements (road) and IATA requirements (air freight) Knowledge of goods management systems (ERP, WMS) and shipping software desirable High reliability, flexibility and readiness to learn as well as careful and quality-conscious operation
