Number: MER0003MLB The ''Passive Security' section is an integral part of the Mercedes-Benz car development in Sindelfingen. The strategy and innovation team Integrale Sicherheit coordinates strategic topics and aspects of sustainability for the ''Passive Security' section. Our neighboring teams and areas include vehicle side safety with vehicle crash tests, development of safety systems (airbag and belt systems) as well as child safety and accident research. Our team focuses on the further development, future goals and interests of vehicle safety and related innovation developments. The team will develop new safety systems for this purpose and will be ready for mass production. As part of the strategic tasks, the team coordinates the necessary planning and coordination of the innovation volumes in the field of expertise. With ''Traffic Safety' as an integral part of the sustainable business strategy, Mercedes-Benz focuses on the continuous development of vehicle safety, the activities in this regard are also coordinated by the team and coordinated with the management.
