Number: MER0003SEP In our field we research and develop driving assistance functions and autonomous driving of Mercedes-Benz AG in the next generations. Our focus is on the development and provision of the computing platform for the diverse functional developments. We are focusing on the possibility of using different specific processors offered on the market and also in different target markets. This results in the need to portable software. AI-based software solutions are still highly dependent on the respective processor technology. For this, we research and develop methods for characterizing software behavior on different processors. These challenges come to you: AgenticAI on Local Embedded Host - Developing an AI agent to interpret the software behavior in a vehicle control unit AgenticAI on Remote Backend Host - Developing an AI agent to interpret the results of vehicle related agents for the entire fleet The final topics will be discussed with the university, you and us. The activity can start from January 2026.
