Your mission is to advance the field of electrical engineering/automatization with regard to standardization/modularization, virtual development and reorientation to new technologies

Its responsibility includes 10 internal employees:inside and additional external employees:inside and partners. You are reporting to Head of Global Engineering

with your team you are important enablers of our product development according to the semiconductor roadmap through the process specifications, but also with global components and modules, such as PLC, for which you hold the ownership

You plan the necessary skills and resources and provide them in time

Business decisions and the organization's strategic orientations will provide you with your team and ensure their implementation

You take over the strategic orientation and continuous development of the department as well as standardization of internal department processes and documentation

You are responsible for the cost and resource planning according to demand including Controlling corresponding key numbers

You lead and motivate, coach and develop the disciplinaryly assigned employees:in accordance with the ZEISS Leadership Principles

a degree in engineering or natural sciences, in the field of electrical automation technology or comparable

distinct leadership competence, proven by experience in (lateral) leadership and management of teams and/or projects

the skills to motivate employees, to use them correctly, to support them in a targeted manner and to form the group into a powerful team

Experiences in product development, ideally in special machine construction with the interfaces to manufacturing, service, suppliers, customers and quality, ideally in the semiconductor industry or in special machine construction

Knowledge of relevant industrial and standard standards in the field of electrical engineering and automation

high motivation to constantly develop your team and to accompany necessary change processes and to leave comfort zones

an independent, structured way of working as well as a high degree of responsibility and reliability combined with cooperation and excellent knowledge of German and English
