Head of Quality Cast Iron (mwd)

As Head of Quality Cast Iron, you are responsible for quality management across all products of a steel casting company. Our client is an internationally active company in the metal industry. As head of quality cast iron, 18 employees in quality assurance guide you professionally and disciplinaryly and report directly to the factory management. You are responsible for quality management across the entire product portfolio, taking into account applicable standards, technical rules and special customer requirements. You convey the quality policy of the company to employees, customers and suppliers. You work with interdisciplinary teams and coordinate future quality strategies with the factory management. You conduct internal and external audits as well as further authorisation procedures. The organization, design, optimization and further development of all quality-protecting measures from raw material to the manufacturing process to the finished product is also part of your responsibility. You advise the management in the development of the company's internal quality philosophy and the specification of quality objectives.

Complete study in a relevant field such as quality management, engineering, chemistry or a related field At least 4 years of professional experience in quality management, ideally with leadership experience Additional professional qualifications and further training in quality management (e.g. Six Sigma, ISO standards) Experience in the implementation and monitoring of quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001) Training as QMB Ideal experience in cast iron Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
