As a Director of Accounting, you run the teams of debitor and creditor accounting as well as the main book and are part of the company's economic management group. Our Head Office is full-time at the Hamburger Foreignalster and performs the following tasks: They are responsible for both the consolidated financial statements and the individual financial statements of the holding company (monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements) according to HGB. They are responsible for the consolidation according to HGB, including the assessment of corporate values. They operate active interface management to the external accounting service provider, tax advisors and to the secondary books. They ensure the further development of accounting within the group, including the development and further development of consolidation and accounting policies, the development of concepts for insourcing the main accounting and the selection of a suitable ERP system. They are central contact for the external accounting service provider, tax advisor, auditor, authorities and banks as well as for management. They are responsible for the auditing process of the annual financial statements and with the support of the tax advisor's office. As part of the financial team, you are significantly involved in the strategy of our hotel group and are involved in the strategic and operational planning processes and Mergers & Acquisitions projects.

You have a successfully completed business studies with a focus on taxes/financial / accounting or an equivalent degree; a tax advisor exam is desirable. They bring together several years of well-founded professional experience in the accounting of an (international) company or in an audit firm as well as in the individual and consolidated financial statements according to HGB. They have very good practical knowledge in MS Office, especially in Excel, as well as in the application of ERP software, ideally also professional experience in selecting and introducing ERP software. They have very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing. They are characterized by an independent, proactive and solution-oriented manner of operation, a high level of sense of responsibility and a high abstraction capacity. They have the ability to keep an overview in highly complex environments and bring together initial experience in the disciplined leadership of employees. A safe occurrence and very good communication skills across all hierarchical levels round off your profile.
