Project Manager Cable Laying in the Wadden Sea (m/f/d)

For demanding infrastructure projects in the vicinity of sea cable laying, we are looking for you as a fixed project manager (m/w/d) with experience in horizontal drilling. In this position, you take responsibility for technically complex construction sections where special depth construction, environmental protection and work in sensitive natural and water areas are closely connected. The work place is Oldenburg. The travel percentage is low, but project-related on-site terminals may be required.

You take over the project control for construction and installation sections in the field of sea cable and cable infrastructure. You coordinate and monitor HDD drilling, in particular for technically demanding crossings. You agree with construction companies, subcontractors, departments and external project participants. You pay attention to compliance with deadline, quality and cost specifications within the project sections responsible. You shall ensure that environmental requirements, approval requirements and requirements are taken into account in sensitive water and natural spaces.

You have a degree in civil engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification. You bring experience in infrastructure, cable, line construction or special deep construction projects. You have practical knowledge in the field of HDD drilling or horizontal drilling. You know the requirements for construction projects in sensitive environmental areas and can safely arrange environmental requirements. You have knowledge of working under water, in the water sector or in comparable marine project environments.
