Type of employment: Unlimited Working time: Full time Place of work: Dresden You design and implement IT solutions for our high-tech production – from the request intake to the implementation. You can use standardized services from our internal IT service provider's catalogue and implement them precisely for our production requirements. You carry project and operational responsibility for critical IT systems at the Dresden site and, in close coordination with internal IT service providers and application managers, ensure the setup and support of our Manufacturing IT systems. You support the complete lifecycle of our IT systems in a heterogeneous Linux/Windows environment. Your redundant architectures and proactive monitoring ensure maximum availability of our server and application landscape, IT Security is part of our designs. The internal stakeholders will be advised by you on the topics of architecture, dimensioning and optimal solution designs. In complex disorders, you will analyze the entire stack together with colleagues from other infrastructure areas – from network to OS to application. You work in a cross-functional team with colleagues from infrastructure areas and application management. Your direct customers also include the FAB engineering and operations colleagues. Together, you ensure maximum availability for production-critical systems and thus contribute to the continuous production of our semiconductors.

Education: Completed IT-study with multi-year professional experience in IT abilities and know-how: learned experience in operating Linux and Windows server systems; experience in troubleshooting in complex IT infrastructures; understanding of highly available architectures and their requirements; Knowledge of virtualization, monitoring and storage systems (VMware, ESXi, Nutanix, CheckMK Enterprise, NetApp and IT/OT) desirable Operation: responsible, structured, independent, solution-oriented and customer-oriented Personality: communication strong and interdisciplinary thinking; Ability to integrate modern technologies and coordinate between different stakeholders Languages: very good German and good English knowledge in word and writing
