Principal Cloud Architect for the ARD Cloud Platform in the ARD Cloud Unit (m/f/d)

You will design and develop an overarching architecture for the ARD Cloud Platform, tailored to the multi-cloud strategy (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, STACKIT, Private Cloud) You ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and industry-specific requirements, strengthen the resilience of the platform and minimise risk through proactive measures You will develop the Cloud Governance Framework to clear the use of cloud services on the ARD Cloud Platform For standardization of landing zones, you implement automated routings and governance-driven policies to ensure security and agility You define and implement best practices and architecture standards for safe, stable and scalable use of the ARD Cloud Platform You evaluate new technologies and trends in cloud computing to drive innovations and future-proof architectures

You have a completed technical study, preferably with the subject of computer science, or a comparable qualification with several years of professional experience in the cloud environment. You bring expertise into complex cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and understand the peculiarities of sovereign clouds like STACKIT You have extensive experience in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible as well as in version control systems such as Git You have a deep understanding of security frameworks, GDPR requirements and implementation of compliance in CI/CD pipelines You are technology-enhancing, you are actively educating yourself and bringing the willingness to develop innovative solutions in a dynamic environment As a team player you are communicatively strong and like to work with other roles in interdisciplinary teams to achieve common goals You have very good German skills (C2) and good English skills
