We are looking for the waste industry Stuttgart (AWS) of the Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart. The place shall be occupied without delay.

The AWS employs around 1,000 employees in the headquarters on Stöckach and at various locations throughout the city. Our tasks include collecting and conveying waste, road cleaning, winter service and central urban fleet management with its own workshop. We also operate a mineral landfill and several valuables. The office is assigned to the Central Services department.

A job that enthuses you

• They are responsible for the maintenance and maintenance of large-scale and small-scale machines and waste collection vehicles. their structures
• You take over the diagnosis and repair of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electronic defects
• You are responsible for carrying out inspections and statutory audits by appointment
• You are responsible for the dismantling and conversion of vehicles with crops
• They perform welding work

A change or addition of the task area is reserved.

Your profile that suits us

• A completed vocational training as a motor vehicle mechanic, motor vehicle mechatronic, or as a locksmith/in, metal maker/in or Bodybuilder/-in (required for state recognition in foreign degrees)
• Ownership of driving licence class B (copy of driving licence required), driving licence class CE desirable
• Professional experience in the field of commercial and special vehicles ( sweeping machines, waste collection vehicles etc.)
• User knowledge of motor vehicle specific programs (WIS, Xentry, EPC) desirable
• Good knowledge of German in word and writing

We offer you a place of the pay group 8 TVöD. A higher grouping is possible with appropriate activity and qualification.
