Your role

In your role... select suitable measuring methods based on the requirements;

design measuring machines,

develop measurement sequences, calibration methods, data filters and analysis methods,

translate the physical principles and approaches into powerful algorithms for the highest standards,

take on complex measuring machines for the optical qualification of high-performance optics, qualify them and take over the production support,

conduct teams from R&D, engineering and manufacturing professionally, take responsibility for managing work packages and projects in this area.

Your profile

You have... a very well-established scientific or technical degree (physics, technical optics, mechanical engineering, mechatronics or comparable) on master level, like with doctorate

well-founded knowledge of optical measurement technology, in particular of interferometric or spectroscopic measurement methods

deep understanding of measurement algorithm development, calibration method, error budgets, data analysis & preparation, adjustment of optical components

Programming skills, preferably in Python

a high level of team capacity, applied, safe and friendly appearance and good communication skills

Experience in project work desirable

high self-motivation, commitment and interest in thinking topics further
