Technical Assistant, Specialist in Laboratory Automation (m/f/d)

Branch: Teaching and training Branch: Teaching and training

The department is located at the Chair and Institute of Applied Microbiology (iAMB) of RWTH Aachen. At the iAMB we investigate catalytic performances of bacteria, yeasts and fungi. In addition to the actual microbial whole cell catalyst, the focus is on optimizing the cultivation conditions from the laboratory to the pilot scale in order to develop bioprocesses for a circular bioeconomy and to contribute to the management of future environmental, health and climate crises. Parallel to this applied research orientation, the iAMB stands for the training and practical training of future biotechnologists and biologists in the various facets and orientations for a sustainable knowledge society. The RWTH is certified as a family-friendly university. RWTH offers a variety of health, counselling and prevention services (e.g. university sports) as part of a university health management. There is a wide range of training and the possibility of obtaining a job ticket for employees and civil servants. .
