Our department is responsible for the production supply of the start-up factory and the planning and control of logistics processes for future vehicle projects. New Mercedes-Benz models are created in the start-up factory already years before their market launch. Together with development, production, logistics and numerous other specialist areas, we create the conditions for a successful vehicle start. In addition to the operational supply of pre-series production, we coordinate the material flows of new vehicle projects, accompany the transition to series production and work closely with international Mercedes-Benz plants, suppliers and logistics service providers. You can expect varied tasks at the interface between project management, supply chain management, digitalization and production. These challenges await you: During your internship, you can support our team in both operational day-to-day business and strategic and cross-disciplinary projects

Support for project management in national and international vehicle operations

Creation of management presentations, decision templates and project documentation

Analysis, preparation and visualization of logistical key figures and support for reporting

Planning, control and optimization of logistics processes in the context of new vehicle projects

Working with the production supply of the start-up factory and supporting the material supply for pre-series vehicles

Support in the planning and coordination of international material flows between suppliers, logistics service providers and Mercedes-Benz plants

Automation and further development of Excel evaluations as well as digitization of existing workflows

Cooperation in the further development of logistics processes and IT systems

Organisation, preparation and follow-up of workshops, project appointments and cross-departmental working groups

Support in supplier communication and coordination with internal and external project partners

Independent processing of subprojects and taking responsibility for own work packages

Supporting our team with a variety of tasks related to the vehicle launches of future Mercedes-Benz models

From the start, you will be actively integrated into our team and work on varied tasks as well as exciting vehicle projects. Studies in Business Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Informatics or a comparable degree course

Interest in project management, production supply, logistics processes and automotive production

Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing

Safe handling of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

SAP knowledge is advantageous

Self-employed, structured and analytical methods

High self-initiative and sense of responsibility

Embossed communication and team skills

Safe appearance and joy in cooperation with different disciplines

Motivation to develop new topics independently and actively contribute
