Our department is responsible for the production supply of the start-up factory and the planning and control of logistics processes for future vehicle projects. New Mercedes-Benz models are created in the start-up factory already years before their market launch. Together with development, production, logistics and numerous other specialist areas, we create the conditions for a successful vehicle start. In addition to the operational supply of pre-series production, we coordinate the material flows of new vehicle projects, accompany the transition to series production and work closely with international Mercedes-Benz plants, suppliers and logistics service providers. You can expect varied tasks at the interface between project management, supply chain management, digitalization and production. Planning, control and optimization of logistics processes in the context of new vehicle projects

Working with the production supply of the start-up factory and supporting the material supply for pre-series vehicles

Support in the planning and coordination of international material flows between suppliers, logistics service providers and Mercedes-Benz plants

Automation and further development of Excel evaluations as well as digitization of existing workflows

Cooperation in the further development of logistics processes and IT systems

Organisation, preparation and follow-up of workshops, project appointments and cross-departmental working groups
