Head of Technical Department (m/f/d)

You take over the organizational, technical and personnel management of the technology sector – with responsibility for network planning, grid construction and grid operation in the electricity, gas, water, heat as well as information technology and network service sectors You lead and develop an interdisciplinary team, promote independent work and actively support your employees in their further development You control the operation and further development of the supply infrastructure strategically and operationally – taking into account technical, economic, legal and regulatory requirements You are responsible for network management and technical risk management and ensure operational and occupational safety at any time The technical budget planning, reporting with key figures and compliance with environmental regulations are within your task You design concepts for new and expansion projects, renewals and maintenance of the networks and coordinate their implementation In energy management, you develop innovative solutions with a view to security of supply, efficiency and sustainability You acquire technical and network-related services and actively promote the further expansion of these business areas With offices, authorities and external partners, you are in close contact and represent the field of technology confidently over management and other stakeholders

Complete studies in the field of supply technology, energy management, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or alternatively an equivalent technical qualification Multiannual leadership experience as well as the ability to motivate teams through role model function and clear target orientation Comprehensive energy expertise with special focus on the planning, construction and operation of networks in the electricity, gas, water and heat sectors Entrepreneurial thinking, analytical strength and pragmatic handling of complex technical and economic requirements Impressed sense of responsibility and a high degree of outcome and solution orientation Great affinity for innovative technologies and new technical developments Very good knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and technical regulations
