Chemical Specialist (f/m/d)

For STEAG Power GmbH at the plant plant Fenne, we are looking for a qualified chemical specialist (w/m/d) to strengthen our team.

In our company you are responsible for the operation and monitoring of the water treatment plants of the power plant and for the continuous maintenance of the water analysis equipment. You are also responsible for carrying out the analyses in the field of process water and power plant by-products. Their task also includes monitoring and carrying out the regeneration of the full desalination systems as well as the creation of process data tables of the laboratories. Your tasks include: Guided tours in the chemical plants of the power plant Detection and avoidance of irregularities and incidents Sample shipment and communication with external laboratories Processing of cooling and feed water Detect and eliminate chemical disorders Control of operational waste water Training of shift staff Monitor and operate the chemical plant parts via a process control system Accompanying foreign surveillance authorities in sampling Create independent solutions for problems in the chemical plant

They have a successfully completed vocational training in the field of chemistry and have the willingness to further develop additional necessary qualifications (e.g. further training on the boiler). Knowledge of the functional processes in the field of water chemistry in a power plant is desirable.
