Your duties The increasing electrification and decentralization of energy generation systems require a fundamental transformation of our energy systems. In order to meet these challenges, we are engaged at the Chair of Active Energy Distribution Networks with the planning and operation of multi-energy systems and the coordination of flexibility, such as batteries, electric vehicles and heat pumps. Another focus is on the resilient network operation: The aim is to design future energy systems in such a way that You can be intuitively operated by the management staff. To this end, we develop intelligent assistance systems that provide meaningful support in operation and decision-making. In addition, we explore protection concepts and the decentralized provision of system services in order to make the integration of new controllers (controllers) into the energy system safe and efficient, including analysis of the resulting network dynamics. Modern IT systems and an extensively equipped medium and low-voltage laboratory are available for practical validation of our concepts.
