Our department is responsible for the system development and the rollout of driving and parking systems. We are responsible for the development of a wide range of ADAS products ranging from the rear camera to track-holding systems to remote parking via smartphone app. The Immendingen site, with its modern test site, offers excellent opportunities for developing forward-looking assistance systems. In particular, the development of assistance systems from the SAE Level 3 Autonomy level offers exciting new topics. To this end, new approaches for path and trajectory planning are needed, which are particularly subject to special challenges on parking spaces. For algorithm development, we are looking for support in the form of a final work. These challenges come to you: Development of the requirements for a path and trajectory planning for parking functions Preparing the state of knowledge Development of new methods for path and trajectory planning Validation of the developed solutions deriving recommendations for action The final topics will be discussed with the university, you and us. The final work can start from August 2025.
