Your tasks:

• Optimize semiconductor processes for MEMS and power semiconductors
• Improving single processes in the field of Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition (PECVD) and Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) in development with focus on the implementation of new requirements and improvement of process quality and yield
• Participation in the testing, development and introduction of new manufacturing processes and plants
• cooperation in the design, coordination and evaluation of experiments in cooperation with internal and external bodies
• Development of measures for process flexibility and cost reduction as well as planning and accompanying their introduction in the manufacturing sector
• Implementation of cost-effectiveness considerations and cost comparisons for new processes, technologies and plants under the framework conditions of technical implementation and future requirements
• advice of specialist areas and support in the procurement of equipment from specification to commissioning and acceptance
• Addressing and tracking optimizations together with plant manufacturers and creating internal documentation and process regulations

Your profile:

• Complete university studies (Master/Diplom/Promotion) of chemistry, material science, process engineering, physics or a comparable degree course
• Professional experience in semiconductor processes or MEMS (promotion is considered equivalent)
• Advanced knowledge and practical experience in semiconductor technology and plant engineering
• Experiences in statistical process control (SPC), data analysis and data evaluation
• Experience in the development or production of CVD and ALD single processes in the semiconductor or MEMS environment
• Professional and practical experience with surface coating, thin layers and their characterization
• Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
