(Senior) Systems Engineer Land Platforms (m/f/d)

In our subresort “Land” we analyze and evaluate complex military systems of the army from conception to development and demonstration to use along the entire arms process. The calculation and especially the (technical) simulation including data acquisition, processing and representation form the core of our expertise. Through the use of modern procedures and current software/tools as well as a cross-departmental and domain cooperation, we ensure a high level of analytical and assessment competence in the context of technical systems. As a "system engineer:in land platforms" you provide the technical expertise responsible for the investigation of (military) systems in projects. They reliably apply modern methods and procedures and develop this expertise in close coordination with the technical managers: within. They advise project managers: from the acquisition to the delivery of services to documentation. The Defence & Security division is particularly committed to the armed forces and a recognised technical service provider at national and international level in the design of solutions, the support of analysis, development and implementation projects and the provision of services.

Activity

• Technical, cross-departmental processing of technical questions in projects in the context of land systems
• Acquisition and independent implementation of subprojects in the field and independent communication with expert experts from the customer
• Technical analyses, calculations and simulations on military land platforms incl. Detailed analyses and evaluations on all system aspects in military use
• Development of methods and methods in the context of technical simulation
• Result presentations to customers and internal specialists: both as well as participation in professional discussions on the precise classification of the analysis results – also as part of the subsequent acquisition
• Strengthening the internal method portfolio and sharpening the technical expertise of the team, including systematic incorporation into new technologies and procedures

Preconditions

• Complete studies in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automotive engineering or comparable
• Experience with modern driving assistance systems and autonomous driving functions would be advantageous
• Very good calculation and analysis skills
• Experience in the military environment would be ideal
• Readiness for customer appointments and team collaboration at different locations
• Own initiative and high sense of responsibility with strong care and solution orientation
• German and English knowledge in word and writing
