The University of Arts Bremen (HfK) consists of the two areas of art & design and music. The HfK is an interdisciplinary and lively art college open to all artistic orientations.

In the Department of Art & Design, the next event is the place of one/one Research assistant as a student coordinator:in (w/m/d) with three quarters of the regular weekly working hours of one or more full-time employees (29.4 hours per week) indefinite Group 13 TV-L Reference number WP 26/10 to occupy.

The subject area of art and design is a concern to sustainably support and improve the study and teaching business in the sense of studyability and to promote it in its interdisciplinary orientation. For the written position, a strong person is sought who coordinates and supports these activities as a team partner:in the office staff provided under the Higher Education Act.

With five degree programmes – the Bachelor and Master's Programme Integrated Design, the Bachelor and Master's Programme Digital Media and the Diploma Programme Freie Kunst, jointly offered with the University of Bremen, the Department of Art and Design offers an exciting interdisciplinary environment. Accompanying and coordinating the ongoing development of all courses of art and design Promoting and supporting the interpretation and implementation of interdisciplinary nature Support for teachers in the implementation of new teaching/learning and organisational concepts in teaching practice Physical and demand-based updating of study and examination regulations and other means of order Participation in accreditation procedures in questions of study development Further development of standardised recognition and calculation procedures aimed at high-tech courses in coordination with all the bodies involved Development and implementation of a cross-disciplinary curriculum in the art and design field Advising Dean's Office, other bodies and lecturers on issues of study course development and organisation, as well as promoting and coordinating communication and cooperation in all field-wide issues and topics in studies and teaching Changes in the task cross section are possible.

You have a completed academic degree (master, diploma or equivalent) from the field of education/science management or a comparable discipline. You will also bring a multi-year professional experience in the administration at an art college. You provide a basic understanding of legal relationships and administrative requirements and are able to apply them in a contextualized manner within an art college. You have very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing. You are familiar with digital tools and control the handling of all common office applications. You enjoy the takeover of responsibility, have strong communication skills and at the same time see themselves as part of the team. In the implementation of tasks you are independent, structured and precise.
