System Engineer Windows/VMware (m/w/d)

The team of “Core-Operating System Services” is the backbone of our IT infrastructure. We ensure that our server landscape is always at maximum performance – safe, reliable and quick to flash. From the management to the maintenance of all Windows servers and VMware environments in the company, we have everything firmly under control throughout Europe and thus ensure the smooth operation of our IT both on site and in hybrid environments.

You run system updates and patches to ensure high security standards. You are responsible for error analysis and troubleshooting in cooperation with the IT teams. You create and provide technical documentation and operating instructions. You accompany and carry out internal projects. You support the planning and implementation of IT infrastructure projects.

You have extensive knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems and Microsoft infrastructure services. You already have experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy. You have basic knowledge of operating systems, networks and IT architectures, IT security, data center operation. You have very good knowledge of working with the Hypervisor VMware. You have knowledge of script programming (PowerShell, Bash) to automate administration tasks.
