Lead Expert Military IT - Solution Design (m/w/d)

As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With over 7,000 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. Together with us, you are worried about the future digital capability of the Bundeswehr. Lead Expert Military IT - Solution Design (m/w/d) from now on and in full time at a BWI location. The Customer Solution Unit CIR & See is responsible for BWI's projects and projects towards the customer in the dimensions “Cyber- & Informationsraum” and “See” of the Bundeswehr. This includes solutions in the context of IT, in support of operations and exercises, for transferable systems, to ensure the IT supply of Bw abroad and also of the Marine, both for stationary and sea-based shares.

Creation of business architectures and solution design for complex solutions in the environment of military IT at a high level of security Creation of concepts and target images for the implementation and operation of the solutions and for the acquisition and integration of the service provider control into the overall control of the solutions Development of complex architecture concepts in IT, which is close to use, taking into account the requirements and guidelines of BWI, Bw and NATO Coordination of complex architecture, operating and rollout concepts with Bundeswehr, the responsible units of the BWI and, if necessary, external service providers incl. Representation of these in decision-making bodies Responsibility for the management of requirements and consulting requests from the user organisation of the Bundeswehr Acquisition of internal and external stakeholder management as well as management and/or participation of or in customer bodies Professional cooperation in performance descriptions as well as back-to-back agreements as part of offers

Completed studies in the IT field or comparable training About 7 years of relevant professional experience in IT projects in IT infrastructure/ IT architecture Found experience in IT service management (e.g. according to ITIL) and development frameworks (e.g. TOGAF) and tools (e.g. SPARX) as well as knowledge in the field of request management Very good knowledge of architectural and modeling methods (e.g. UML, BPMN), knowledge of BWI, Bw (ADMBw) and NATO (NAF) architecture specifications Ideally experience in the implementation of Bundeswehr- or NATO projects and in the participation in Bw-customer bodies Excellent organizational and communication skills as well as a pronounced analytical thinking capability Very good knowledge of German and English in word such as writing and readiness to travel
