The field of water science is a nationwide organizational unit of the WSA Oberrhein. In the field of research, the three areas of responsibility are “water level forecast”, “hydrological analyses” and “process management of hydrologic IT processes”. With your work, you will support the “Hydrological Analyses” area on site. You are responsible for water science and water management at all federal waterways. The area of responsibility comprises essentially the following points: Analysis of changes in water levels in free-flowing federal waterways Evaluation and analysis of water level fixation Creating epoch comparisons Assessment of analysis and model results of third parties (e.g. federal institutions, universities etc.) Evaluate and analyze flow measurements Creating outflow curves Creating and tuning specialist concepts Publication of operational water level forecast Implementation of the operational water level forecast
