Head of Welcome Center / Migration Office (m/f/d)

You conduct, coordinate and develop the Welcome Center Stuttgart strategically and work closely with the Welcome Center of the Stuttgart region, the migration services of the free carriers, the service telephone of the aliens department and the cooperation partners on site. You are responsible for the cooperation and the development of networks with urban, regional and other relevant institutions to further develop counselling and integration opportunities for new citizens You provide a demand-oriented consulting offer for new citizens on issues of arrival, life and work in Stuttgart and continuously develop this You conduct, coordinate and develop the Department of Migration strategically. As a competence body, the department advises, informs and advises municipal services, the institutions, organisations, institutions and the inhabitants of Stuttgart on questions of the right of residence, the right of free movement (EU) and the right of asylum. A completed study (Master) with experience in work fields related to migration and integration Knowledge of the various fields of work in the municipal sector and ideally multi-year relevant professional experience Management experience and personnel management skills Embossed communicative and intercultural competence as well as the ability to convincingly moderate and convey even in complex or conflict-affected situations Good expressiveness in German, English and in another language Team orientation, decision-making strength and a high level of sense of responsibility, initiative and commitment
