The SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. is a renowned aid organisation and a free, non-profit institution of child and youth assistance with 38 facilities throughout the federal territory and around 5,200 employees.

The SOS Children's Village Prignitz offers a place of encounter and support for all people from the social area and especially for children, young people and parents. Our help from a single source includes children's daycare facilities, early help, educational counselling centres, youth and school social work, a multi-generation house, a children's and youth campus centre and various stationary offers in the urban children's village.

As an area manager in the SOS Children's Village Prignitz, you are responsible for the holistic control and further development of our educational offer ''Hilfen zur Bildungs''', which consists of two children/young people, two mother/father children's children's groups and two educational advisory bodies. In this important position lead and develop a team of approx. 20 employees, promote an open and trusting working atmosphere and ensure a high quality of educational work.

Your tasks include: Educational and economic management: You ensure the qualitative and economic development of our educational aids Personnel planning and management: You are responsible for the personnel planning, development and supervision of your employees Quality assurance: You ensure the high quality of our offers, with particular focus on child protection Design of the aid procedure: you design and coordinate the entire aid procedure in the stationary field, including admission and dismissal procedures Cooperation with external partners: You foster and intensify cooperation with youth offices and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MBJS) Participation in bodies: You represent our area in internal and external bodies and working groups Protection and safety: In all your tasks, be sure to respect the protection of children and persons

completed studies (Master, Bachelor or Diploma) in a relevant educational, psychological or social science course multiannual experience in child and youth assistance ideally first leadership experience strong social competence, high capacity for conflict and negotiation Being responsible and enjoying leadership and management tasks a good team spirit and joy in close cooperation in the co-direction and in the leadership circle a professional approach to proximity and distance to the representatives Class B driving licence
